Red Pop Corn

In Shanghai, red stripes rest near the base of a wall, a scrap of tarpaulin softening into faded blues and greys, where colour behaves like weather rather than design. Elsewhere in the American South, red and white stripes remain locked into a bold graphic order, part of a circle and lettering that continue to speak through cracks and cooled blue tones. Same palette, different logic. One stripe arrives by chance, the other by intention. Texture meets typography, both held together by lines of red.
