In Montmartre, a wall fills with repeated circles, lines, and doubled colours that resemble a script but never form words, more like a visual soundwave than a language. The marks repeat, shift, and echo, turning the surface into something that feels transmitted rather than written. Meanwhile in Istanbul, blue nazar eyes cover a door in dense pattern, deep cobalt and turquoise circles layered again and again as a sign of protection. Two places, two systems of repetition. One behaves like signal, open and outward, the other like a ritual surface, guarding and holding.
