Snow

This painted scene, more suited for a windswept wall in the mountains, unexpectedly adorns a corner in the sun-drenched town of Lingualosa, Sicily. How did it get here? A nostalgic tourist from the North longing for alpine vistas? Maybe a Sicilian native daydreaming of snow-covered peaks and a white Christmas? A curious contrast to its Mediterranean home.
